Damont Combs, also known by his stage name Mr. Orange Live, is an award-winning poet, author, and cultural producer based in Rhode Island. He is the Executive Director of Tell Your Truth, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to amplifying authentic artistic voices, and serves as Program Director of Poetry Out Loud, inspiring young poets across communities.
A nationally recognized performer and teaching artist, Damont has published three poetry collections—My Poem…My Riddle, A Touch of Orange, and Orange Will Rise. His work explores identity, resilience, and social change, earning state and national recognition for both artistic excellence and community impact.
